Hi everyone, again I am back with my new review on Patanjali Divya Kantilep. I am always a big of natural products, so even thought of trying this. I have heard alot about these Patanjali products, so thought of trying some their products like aleo vera gel, body lotion and Divya KantiLep, trust me though the results are slow, they really worked for me. Mine is an oily skin so I followed a thousands of tips, face packs, face washes to control the oil secretion on my face. Some worked to some extent, but this product
really made a difference in my face. Lets step up to the detailed review.
Price: Rs.60/- for 50 gm
Texture and Smell: It is a brown powder with camphor like smell intially but on storage it really turns to horrible smell like cow dung, but can be bearable.
Ingredients:
- Madayantika or Henna,
- Haridra or Turmeric,
- Amba Haldi or Amra Gandhi Haridra,
- Manjishtha,
- Jati-phala,
- Tagara or Sugandha Bala,
- Shweta Chandana,
- Sphatika Bhasma,
- Khadira and Karpura,
- And more but all are natural.
How to Use: Make a paste by mixing one teaspoon full of it with honey, milk, aloe vera juice and rose water. Leave it for approximately 1-2 hours on your face and then wash it properly with lukewarm water.
How I Use: I make a paste by mixing one teaspoon of powder with one teaspoon of besan powder or bathing powder(Sunipindi), Patanjali aloe vera gel(As I dodn't have aloevera plant in my house, I compensate that with patanjali aloe vera gel as it is natural), honey and rose water(As mine is oily skin I dont use milk). I will dry it for 1 hour and then wash it off with lukewarm water. I use it daily and to see the results you need to use it atleast one month contiously.
My experience: Yes it is a good product, it reduces oil content on your face. The drawback of the pack is after you wash it off, it leaves a yellow shade on your face, this is why I add Besan or Sunipindi to it, to reduce that yellow shade. As far as treating acne yes, it has reduced them a lot, I even apply the paste only on the acne spots and acne during nights. It really dried them up and shaded the spots. And yes it worked on my open pores and white heads even. After washing your face you can really feel that smooth finish over the face. For Oily skin people yes, it is really a boon. Dry skin people stay way as it makes the skin more dry in winter. Application of moisture is must after the pack in winter season. I use Patanjali Aloe vera gel after the pack.
