BANANA LEAF CHICKEN / ARITAKU CHICKEN BY KALYANI

INGREDIENTS:

Banana Leaf: 3
Chicken: 250g
Turmeric powder: 1/2Tbs
Ginger & Garlic paste: 1 1\2Tbs
Chicken masala Powder: 1Tbs
Egg : 1
Salt : As per Taste.
Mirchi Powder: 1Tbs
Onion: 1
Coriander leaves: 2
Lemon: 1
Curd: Half Cup


Preparation:

·         Clean the chicken properly, cut it into small pieces. Take boiled hot water in a bowl and clean the chicken with the hot water for 2 min (make sure they are hot), drain the water and keep the chicken aside.
·          Take one bowl and mix all the ingredients (Mirchi powder, Ginger & Garlic paste, Chicken Masala Powder,  Salt and Curd or Egg. if you want to use egg ommit curd, if you )
·         Take chicken in another bowl and marinate the chicken with the above mixture.
Spread a banana leaf, keep the marinated chicken on the leaf and fold the leaf from all the sides and tie it tightly with a thread.
Keep it in Refrigerator for 1-2 hours
·         Take a grill, keep it on stove, let it heat for 5 min.
·         Take the Chicken tied in Banana leafs,   cook it on grill minimum 15-20 min (as we have cleaned the chicken in hot water it will be half cooked) on medium flame turning the leaf for every 5 to 10 min. You can even cover it with a lid.

·         Once it is ready, open the leaf, add lemon and onions over it and serve it hot.
